Lynnea Glasser, BioWare and Made Real Stories

Lynnea Glasser works at BioWare and independently designs text-based adventure games, which have placed both first and second in the annual Interactive Fiction Competition. She credits her background in science for her ability to create rich and beautiful narratives in rigorously structured worlds. Lynnea creates diversity-positive works and promotes more progressive game industry standards. Her latest satire, “How to Design Games for Boys”, drew amused accolades for its polite suggestions on how to adapt a traditionally female genre to be more broadly appealing.  www.maderealstories.com

fabianFabian Parker, Character Artist at Bioware

Fabian spends his days as a Character Artist at Bioware Austin, but at night, spotlights as an illustrator in between fits of vigilantism and snacks.  When not devoting time to character work, Fabian dabbles into his own imagination, drawing inspriation from mythology and fairy tale to comics, games, and television. He sometimes paints on his shoes. His credits include art for Star Wars: The Old Republic ( and did some art for Lynnea’s games too!)

kathrynKathryn Long is a Technical Artist at BioWare, where she spends her time helping the art team make Star Wars: The Old Republic look great. Panelist Photo - Hall HoodHall Hood, Lead Writer at BioWare Austin.

For the past nine years Hall has created characters, stories, and lore for popular MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, as well as several exciting unannounced projects in development. He is one of the co-authors of the official Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia published by DK Books. A lifelong fan of science fiction and fantastic tales no matter what form they take, Hall became a writer for the same reason other people become actors: to immerse himself in the perspectives and experiences of people who are nothing like him.
